40N Concrete is a kiln dried pre-blended factory produced concrete that is suitable for use in the following applications (except where resistance to sulphates and aggressive chemicals is required)

Quality

This material is designed to achieve a mean strength greater than 40N/mm2 after 28 Days when mixed and used at S2 consistency in accordance with British Standard BS 8500 – 1:2002. Standardised binders and aggregates are already incorporated in the product

Mixing Instructions

The contents of the bag can be mechanically mixed in a free fall mixer for 3-4 minutes. Alternatively, it can be hand mixed by pouring the contents onto a clean flat surface, slowly adding clean water in increments and mixing continuously until the desired workability is achieved. For optimum results, add approximately 1.6 litres of clean water per bag and used within 60 minutes. Use when ambient temperatures are between 5OC and 35OC. Refrain from adding excess water or overmixing as this will weaken the mix, delay setting times and adversely affect durability.

Coverage

Each maxi bag of Remix 40N Concrete will yield approx. 0.01m3 of concrete when mixed.
